This project focuses on redesigning a hotel room within the former Wolvenburg prison. The goal is to create a unique interior that reflects the building’s distinctive history while meeting the needs of a modern target group. Through research into the location, target audience, and current design trends, a concept has been developed in which experience, atmosphere, and functionality come together.

Concept & Interior Visuals

The concept combines an industrial and robust aesthetic with a fresh, modern atmosphere. By using materials such as metal and brick, the original character of the prison is preserved. The addition of green tones brings a lively and contemporary feel, introducing a sense of nature into the space. This combination results in an interior that is both bold and warm, with a strong focus on experience.
